Anyway, I haven’t really been updating much because I am so close to the end of the school year! Yay! It totally doesn’t feel like it at all. I have my first exam today at 5:30 pm, which is weird. I should be eating dinner at 5:30 in the evening, not taking an American Government final which I haven’t studied for yet. Well, I have all day, right?

Hm, what else? Oh, remember that job I was talking about? Well, I got it. I am not very excited anymore, though. My boyfriend go hired at the same camping resort about a week ago, and… he quit already. He said he didn’t like the people in charge there. So that’s just flippin’ great. I’m probably going to hate it. The best part is that I start full time next week, right when summer starts. I am not going to have any time to be lazy. Plus it is mandatory that I work on the weekends. And that is not good because I have two weddings to go to this summer and I am afraid they will be really mean to me and tell me I can’t have off.

School is done in a week though, which is awesome. It will feel great not having to worry about homework, projects, or exams. Then I can actually dedicated (some) time to my own personal projects. I really want to start painting more and writing more. I also want to look into doing some freelance photography and graphic design, but I need to deal with all the legal mumbo-jumbo to make sure I’m not doing anything illegal. Does anyone know anything about that?

Well, I must go and be studious now. But before I bid you all farewell, I will leave you with a few questions for your (slight) amusement.
1. When does your summer start?
2. Any summer jobs?
3. Any other exciting plans (besides working :P)?

Oh, that last question reminded me: I’m not going to be able to go to Bamboozle this year. *tear*
It’s too expensive and I am broke.

Good news: I only have three more days of classes left!
Bad news: After that, I have a full week of exams!

Oh well, I am almost done with my very first year of college. I never, ever, in a million years, thought this year would go by so fast. It’s scary, actually, when you think about how time just flies by.

Oh, and here’s some more bad news: I entered a local art exhibition. I did not get it. I sent in a watercolor painting and two photos along with a $25 non-refundable fee.

Whatever. I’m over that.

However, I am not over the fact that I just ate half a box of Goldfish (the crackers, not actual fish). And now I feel like a fat ass.

As you can see, I finally got a real layout up. Hurray. It features some photos of a friend of mine that I took the other day. Ella es muy bonita. Lawlz at my badass Spanish skills. [sidenote] Just for kicks, I typed “badass” into Google, and the first thing that came up was The 9 Most Baddass Bible Verses. Haha, they are pretty hilarious. Ironic that today is Easter, too. [/sidenote]

The layout is not my best, but it is simple and that is what I like. The CSS is pretty bland so I might make some little changes here and there if I can think of something exciting.

Hm, yeah. I don’t think I can say it enough, but I am very proud of myself for installing Wordpress. It makes me feel accomplished and a little bit more intelligent.

In other news, this weekend feels like it’s been going on forever. Which is a good thing. I had off of school on Friday and I have off on Monday too. It always seems that whenever I have a lot of things to do, time goes really fast, but when I don’t have anything to do, time goes slow. Crazy, I tell ya.

School is finally winding down though. I only have eight more days of real classes and then one week of exams. I cannot wait for summer; it will be such a relief. I just applied for a job at a local camping resort and I really hope I get it. I think I will; they called me to do a background check and what-not. It would be a really boring job (cleaning the bathrooms and cabins), but it will be full time and pay at least eight bucks an hour. Which is dank.

How is everyone else? What’s new in the world?
I’ve been able to hang out with some of my friends this weekend because they’re home for Easter. It really sucks that all of my friends went away to college and I stayed here for college. I get to see most of them pretty frequently, but it’s just different than being able to hang out every day like we used to. And what really sucks balls is that two of my best friends are going in live in Milwaukee (where they go to school) all summer. I guess it’ll be okay, at least I’ll be able to visit and hang out with them.
But we went to the hookah bar (like old times), listened to my friend Kevin play guitar and sing obnoxious improv songs (like old times), and laughed a lot (like old times). I miss them. 

I’m [hopefully] moving in with my boyfriend this summer. I cannot wait. I just hope that we don’t kill each other. Hah. My boyfriend and I never really get into any serious fights, but we kind of bicker and get annoyed pretty easily.

Oh, also I just lost two affiliates because they closed down their sites. I’m definitely looking for more so if you are interested please let me know!
